There are a total of 35 collectibles in Battlefield 4. They consist of Dog Tags and weapons. The dog tags, look like knifes stuck into the wall whereas weapons just look like ordinary guns that are in hidden places. To collect a dog tag just have to press when you see the on screen prompt. To pick up a weapon you have to press when you see the on screen prompt. There are many trophies related to the collectibles that you will unlock on the way, these are:
Stumbled over it
Find 3 collectibles in the Campaign
It was on the way...
Find 6 collectibles in the Campaign
Took a casual look around
Find 9 collectibles in the Campaign

Find 21 collectibles in the Campaign
Find 28 collectibles in the Campaign
Finding them all will also count towards this trophy:
Unlock all assignments and collectibles in the Campaign
To get the other half of this trophy you need to complete all the assignments in the game. These are very easy and I got gold first time in every mission. All you have to do is beat the gold score for a mission in order to pass the assignment. You can check what score you need and your current score in a mission by pressing , it will show you there. There is a scoring system to the assignments, these are as follows:
- Regular Kill
- 25 Points + additional 100 points
- Multi-Kill (Kill 2 or more enemies quickly)
- 100 points per kill. Example; Kill 3 enemies quickly, 600 points.
- Adrenaline Kill (Kill an enemy while on low health)
- 50 Points + additional 100 points
- Melee Kill
- 25 Points + additional 100 points
- Kill Streak
- 50 Points for each kill during the streak + additional 100 points per kill
- Squad Kills - AI gets a kill
Q. If I die after picking one up, do I have to pick it up again?
A. No. Once you pick it up, it'll save and you won't need to pick it up again. The same can be said for if you quit the game after picking one up.
Q. Can I check which ones I am missing?
A. Yes, this is done on the mission select screen or by pressing while in a mission.
Q. I unlocked the trophy without having them all?
A. The trophy is a little glitchy, but in a good way. Due to poor coding there's a few extra dog tags you can get in the last mission and these also count towards the trophy. The same can be said for weapons as you are able to pick a few of them up. Don't worry if it unlocks early, it undoubtedly will if you are picking up guns off the floor all the time.
Q. What does the little play button mean in the guide?
A. Click this button and it will take you to the point in the video where that exact collectible is being collected. Note: This doesn't work on iPhone's or iPad's.
Q. What weapon drops are in which missions?
A. There is many different weapons in each of the missions. As you play, just make sure to pick up all the weapons that are dropped by enemies. Doing this will make the trophy unlock sooner than it should too.

Battlefield 3|3 September 2012
Battlefield 3 Armored Kill achievements, assignments and dog tags details roll in
A good achievement isn’t a marker or a waypoint, but a challenge. On the surface but a few words and a pretty picture; beneath that, an idea that makes you wonder at the new possibilities in store. Case in point: “Get one kill with the quad bike”.
This is but one of the five new achievements coming in Armored Kill, the vehicular-driven DLC pack coming to Battlefield 3 by the end of September. See the rest below:-
In addition, five dog tags and five assignments will debut with Armored Kill, listed here for your delectation:-
Unlocks the Armored Superiority Basic Dog Tag
Need 50 kills in MBT’s
Unlocks the Mechanized Infantry Basic Dog Tag
Need 50 kills in IFV’s
Get to tha Choppa
Unlocks the Get to tha Choppa Basic Dog Tag
Need 50 kills with scout or attack helicopters
Destroy 25 MBT’s with scout or attack helicopters
Unlocks the Maverick Basic Dog Tag
Need 50 kills with jets

Need a ride?

Unlocks Tank Destroyer TOW
Destroy 10 Tank Destroyers and 1 Mobile Artillery

Unlocks Tank Destroyer Firing Extinguisher
Repair 20 friendly vehicles

Need 10 kills with Mobile Artillery
Unlocks anti-air missiles for Mobile Artillery
Need 15 kills in the Gunship.
If, like me, your fondest Battlefield memories remain hunched in a sidecar back in the Pacific mists of 1942, the emergent means by which a quad bike might kill a man will be a topic of near-endless fascination to you. So: how would you do it? And will these assignments / dog tags / achievements cause you to break a sweat?
